I have emailed the home owner now twice to alert her to our arrival but no response...I hate that! Anyway we go and can't wait for a new experience, although we are already sad to leave our little island...
Last night we walked down to Monchi's Grill and had the most fabulous meal! Really the best meal we have had yet. Have a look!
This was Monchi's Carmelo...arrechera steak in between layers of tortilla's with a cream sauce slightly sweetened with caramel...grilled onion and baked potato...divine!
Graham had the Media Luna which is roasted pulled pork with pork crackling inside two tortilla's with a creamy habenero or chipotle sauce...ubelievable!
To start with they bring you out a plate of toasted bread with a hot queso sauce to spread on....wow!
Hopefully have wifi in the house we are renting, she wasn't clear! Hope so..need to keep in contact with realtor Joe...see you in Merida!
